Two feature films shooting in New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Film Bureau last week announced that two feature films, Squeaker and bad men, are currently in production in Las Cruces, New Mexico. “New Mexico’s second largest city, Las Cruces, is rapidly developing a reputation as the state’s newest film production hotspot,” said Amber Dodson, director of the New Mexico Film Office.

Squeaker will employ approximately 45 New Mexican crew members, three New Mexican lead actors, and 35 New Mexican background and extras. bad men employ approximately 125 New Mexican crew members, 20 New Mexican lead actors, and 30 New Mexican background and extras.

Squeaker, with Ronnie Gene Blevins (Death in Texas)Theo Rossi (army of the dead)Wes Chatham, Tyrese Gibson (Furious 7), Katherine Moenning (Lincoln’s lawyer), and Danielle Burgiois (army of the dead), is about an overzealous social worker who follows up on clues to missing persons cases in the city. According to New Mexico Film, the production will shoot until mid-February.
