NJM Auto Insurance Review 2022 – Forbes Advisor
NJM can provide the standard auto insurance offerings you’d expect with any auto insurance policy, including:
Liability coverage: If you are legally responsible for another person’s injury or property damage from an accident you cause, motor vehicle liability insurance pays for other people’s expenses resulting from the incident, such as medical and automotive repairs. Liability insurance also pays for your legal costs if you are sued.
Personal Injury Protection (PIP): If you or your passengers are injured in an accident, PIP insurance can pay for your injuries, regardless of who is at fault. It is mandatory in some states.
Collision coverage: If you hit an object, like another car or a post or fence, collision coverage pays to repair or replace your car if it’s damaged or destroyed, regardless of fault. If your car is totaled, the maximum payment is the value of the vehicle just before the accident minus your deductible.
Full coverage: If your car is damaged by something other than an accident, comprehensive coverage can pay for repairs or the actual cash value of a stolen or stolen car. For example, covered issues include damage to the car resulting from collision with an animal, fire, hail, vandalism or flood.
Collision and comprehensive coverage is usually required if you have an auto loan.
Underinsured and uninsured motorist: Suppose your vehicle was hit by a driver who had no insurance (or too little). In this case, uninsured motorist coverage will pay for your medical expenses and those of your passengers if you are injured.
Uninsured motorist property damage coverage helps pay for damage to your vehicle, but is not available in all states.
