Marvel to release feature films exclusively on Disney Plus

It has been revealed to us to sources close to Disney that Marvel is now planning to release films exclusively on Disney Plus.

This news comes after it was revealed that Marvel Studios had promoted Brad Winderbaum.

He is now responsible for streaming, television and animation at Marvel Studios.

A few people wondered if this could mean Kevin Feige was considering his exit from Marvel.

Well, it seems to be quite the opposite.

Our source explained that it was more about the expansion of Marvel and delegating tasks from Feige to someone he trusted.

This was explained in a previous article we published which you can read here.

Okay, so on what our source had to say about the future of Disney Plus and Marvel.

The Brad [Winderbaum] something that I thought was announced a long time ago. I must have made a mistake.

Either way, it’s going to be interesting for Marvel in the future.

Brad is now in charge of everything streaming in the MCU – TV shows, both animated and live.

In fact, I’ve heard that they may be considering doing some Marvel feature film projects for Disney Plus, both live and animated.

It seems Marvel has discussed and laid the groundwork to release the two live action and Animated feature films on Disney Plus.

It could be really great for the fans because we get the best of both worlds.

Cinema premieres and action movies set in the MCU exclusively on Disney Plus.

This brings up a whole new set of questions:

Will we still have those MCU mini-series if they decide to exclusively produce feature films for Disney Plus?

Will they charge extra fees like they did with Black Widow? (I’m sure they will).

Will it be part of phase 4 or phase 5?

We will keep you posted on this development as we hear more.

So, in conclusion, if you were all worried that this meant Feige was about to come out, stop worrying!

All of this is that Feige is smart and delegates tasks to people he trusts.

That’s a good thing and we should be excited about what’s to come from Marvel Studios – both movies and streaming.
