Taylor Swift appears to be courting a Best Short Film Oscar nomination for Very good. But from what she told attendees at the Toronto Film Festival this weekend, one day she might also be in the running for a Best Picture trophy.

According Variety, in a moderated talk at the festival, Taylor said of directing, “I think I’m at a place now where the next baby step isn’t a baby step.” It would be committing to making a film.

“I feel like I would absolutely love the right opportunity to come along because I absolutely, absolutely love telling stories that way,” she added, saying it would be “such a privilege and an honor”. [to direct a feature film].”
