Great year of feature films for Sal Rendino
Several lead roles opposed to respected actors cementing star status
NEW YORK, USA, July 21, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Recently nominated for “Best Actor” at the Brightside Film Fest (which holds its awards August 7) and following his appearance as a “guest presenter” at the Long Island 25th Anniversary Awards Closing Ceremony Intl Film Expo (LIIFE), actor Sal Rendino is ready to explode onto the stage – on screens big and small everywhere.
Well-respected by his peers and best known for his recurring roles on ‘Billions’, ‘Blindspot’ and ‘Royal Pains’, you can look for Sal in prominent lead roles in two different feature films that are set to open. in your favorite theater or stream on your favorite device:
In the first film, “One Moment,” which opens on Apple TV July 26, and co-stars Danny Aiello in his final screen appearance – Middle-aged siblings struggle to manage their lives while caring for their recently widowed aging father. Welcome to the “sandwich generation”.
Second, Sal plays opposite Denise Richards in “Junkyard Dogs,” which opens August 5, and follows a dog who is a master escape artist who must team up with his puppy pals to keep their block from being stolen.
Additionally, Sal has also just completed two other feature films: ‘Johnny and Clyde’, starring Megan Fox and ‘Long Night’, starring Pooch Hall (a regular on Showtime’s hit show ‘Ray Donovan’), which will be released both on a date yet to be determined. He can also be seen on the Amazon Prime series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” in its final season, which will air later this year.
On stage, Sal won an Artistic Director Achievement Award in Los Angeles, as “Best Lead Actor in a Drama” for his portrayal of groundbreaking Abbie Hoffman in the world premiere “David and Goliath in America.”
In film, Sal Rendino won the Long Island Int.’l Film Expo 2021 Best Supporting Actor award. for the feature film “One Moment”, opp. Danny Aiello in his latest screen performance, the Best Supporting Actor Award from the Nice International Film Festival (France) for the feature film “Second Chance” and the 2016 Rising Star Award from the Long Island International Film Expo.
