Films in the Park showing the first of three feature films in Lynchburg on Friday
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Movie fans can rejoice as, starting in late August, Movies in the Park is back in Lynchburg in the next few months!
Lynchburg Parks and Recreation has lined up three films for the fall season. You can see the schedule of films below.
|“The Lion King”||Riverside Park||August 27|
|“Mama Mia”||Lynchburg City Stadium||September 18|
|“Coco”||Riverside Park||22 october|
If you’re planning on attending any of these movies, seating starts at 6 p.m. and then the show time is sunset around 8 p.m. Food trucks will be available to sell popcorn and other food.
On top of that, before the performance of “The Lion King” on Friday August 27th, there will be a performance of the Kuumba Dance Ensemble at 7:30 PM.
VIP sections will also be offered for the event with a limit of 10 people per group. The VIP section will have its own private section in the front row blocked on the ground. It costs $ 50 per section, but includes a section reserved for up to 10 family and friends, free popcorn, and water delivered to your seats.
