23 feature films 20 non-feature films will be presented in the IFFI-ANI Indian Panorama

Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]December 19 (ANI): A selection of 23 feature films and 20 non-feature films will be screened in the Indian Panorama section of the 51st International Indian Film Festival (IFFI) to be held in Goa from January 16 to 24, 2021, The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar, announced on Saturday.
Javadekar took to Twitter and shared the titles of the 23 feature films: “Happy to announce the selection of 23 feature films and 20 non-feature films in the India Panorama of the 51st IFFI. @MIB_India.”
Selected from a wide range of 183 contemporary Indian films, the film collection reflects the dynamism and diversity of the Indian film industry.
The Indian Panorama feature film jury has selected 20 films and the jury’s choice for the opening feature film is Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-sports star-drama Saand Ki Ankh (Hindi), directed by Tushar Hiranandani.
Besides the jury’s choice, the list of 23 feature films includes three mainstream cinemas, including the Hindi film by the late Shushant Singh Rajput Chhichhore, directed by Nitesh Tiwary. Two other mainstream cinemas including Asura (Tamil), directed by Vetri Maaran, and director Muhammed Musthafa Kapella (malayalam).
Among the other feature films to be presented as part of the Indian Panorama is an Assamese (Bridge), two Bengalis (Avijatrik and Brahma Jane Gopon Kommoti), a Chattisgarhi (A dog and his man)a Kannada (Pinkie Elli?), four Malayalam (Safe, Trance, Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakhaand Thahira), a Manipuri (Eigi Kona)three Marathi (June, Prawaasand Karkhanisanchi Waari), an Oriya (Kalira Atitadirected by Nila Madhab Panda), Tamil (Thaen)and Telugu (Gatham).
The Indian Panorama section also includes Govind Nihalani Top Top top in English, Hindi Aavartanand name in Sanskrit, directed by Vijeesh Mani.
The three mainstream films were selected by an internal DFF committee, based on recommendations from the Film Federation of India (FFI) and the Producers Guild.

The selected films will be screened on the big screen for all registered delegates and representatives of the selected films, during the eight-day film festival in Goa, January 16-24, 2021. (ANI)
